My Creative Journey

ABEER

Hello! I’m Abeer, founder and artist behind ABEER’S Art Gallery. Originally from Jordan and now based in the UAE, I’ve spent over two decades exploring art, creativity and self‑expression. 

From the first time I picked up a paintbrush, I knew I wanted more than just to make pretty pictures — I wanted to tell stories, capture emotion, and create pieces that speak. My work spans everything from original canvases to custom home décor and dynamic art classes.

What I Create

At my studio, you’ll find three key threads:

• Original Artworks: Each canvas is a personal exploration — of colour, form, culture, identity.

• Home Decor Design: Pillows, candles, mugs, frames — art that lives in everyday spaces. “Every piece is designed to make your space uniquely yours.” 

• Art Courses: Especially for younger creators — I run fun, hands‑on classes so children explore and build confidence through art. 

Milestones & Achievements

Here are some highlights from my journey (feel free to refine with your exact dates and titles):

• Winner of the Dubai Art Competition 2021 — My portrait of an Emirati woman wearing a gold mask was honoured, blending tradition and modern expression. 

• Exhibitions and showings of my work, both solo and group, allowing me to connect with art‑lovers and collectors across regions.

• Launch of a bespoke home‑decor collection, translating my art into everyday objects you live with — not just view.

• Ongoing mentorship and teaching roles, guiding young artists as they find their voice.

Why It Matters

Art isn’t just decoration. For me, it’s a way to connect:

• With you, the viewer or collector, who brings meaning to a piece by engaging with it.

• With culture and identity — my origin, my present environment, the memories and stories I carry.

• With each creation, I ask: How does this piece live? How does it resonate in someone’s home, heart or mind?

By combining original art, functional design, and teaching, I hope to make creativity accessible, meaningful and lasting.
